The Sport Elise 190 was the race version of the Elise road car and is today indeed very rare. Powered by a highly modified Rover 1.8-liter engine, the Sport Elise develops 190 hp with cylinder heads, pistons, valves, crankshaft and flywheel modified and solid valve lifters fitted. These changes allow engine to rev to an 8000 rpm redline.
My Lotus Sport Elise 190, factory built, has the original equipment which includes for example: competition muffler, specially designed air filter and carbon-fiber cold air box, oil cooler kit, close-ratio gearbox, adjustable front anti-roll bar, uniball rear toe link, lightweight battery with master switch, dry-break fuel system, fire extinguisher, a lightweight, polycarbonate rear window, and a removable leather-rimmed steering wheel.
Many modifications have been made since I imported the car from UK 1998 for higher durability and refinement: Emerald K3 Engine Management System, Payen MLS head gasket, anti-roll bar, drop link, light wheel nuts, AP cluth system, clutch slave cylinder support, sump buffle, upgraded engine mounts (competition), Piper vernier pullies, side scoops, rear diffuser, Pagid brake pads, high pressure radiator, engine coolant pipework stainless manifold, Nitron NTR Sport (475/400 Ibs), Eibach springslight Rota wheels (8” x 6,5”), original wheels are included.
The car is in excellent condition with no damages. I´ve done no racing during the years with the car, just participating in friendly track days. Complete documentation since new.The car is situated in southern Sweden, close to Copenhagen.
